Books Reviews

The following books I have read in the last 2 months. They have accompanied me, expanded my horizons and I would like to recommend at this point:

Titus Müller: The Little Book of Life Artist
If you were born as a living artist? "No," says Titus Müller, but you can learn to become one - and that's not so hard! This booklet explains the successful author of his own experiences and offer tips, how do you manage to go more easily and spontaneously through the day, pick up the gifts that God one day will present the feet, and breakdowns that happen now times not so to take seriously.

A scary real life, and encouraging book - from one of my favorite writers!

Titus Müller: to live the Happiness
who lies down in a field and looks to the clouds? Who knows yet Dämmerstündchen with mutual storytelling? Instead, we rattle through the day like little marionette, turns over constantly. Even after work yet. Once completely switch off - this is not so easy.
I were doing the same way, and therefore I have written this book, says Titus Müller. He wanted to find out how to track down the small wonders of life and enjoys. With all your senses. His tips sometimes sound unusual, but they are neither expensive nor difficult - and for everyday use in all cases.

Markus Spieker: faith book
Why will not more to heaven? And if so, why no one says publicly? The capital of journalist Mark Spiegel is tired of discussing only "moral compass", "social security" and "sustainable policy." He admits what he wants above all others: in the long term happiness, love with no expiration date, eternal life. In other words, he wants in the sky.

begins with this desire to search. He asks: Is there really a paradise? How does it look? How do I get there? lead in seven stages from seeing the tendons, he describes the path to immortality. And he adds: Who anpeilt the supernatural luck, stumbles on the road everyday happiness.

same time, the author criticizes an attitude of radical worldliness, which does not spread in the social mainstream, but also in churches on and on. According to recent surveys, only every third German believes in life after death. Markus Spieker knocks the secular salvation offers from their performance, analyzes the modern formulas and happiness comes to the conclusion that there is no alternative to the Christian hope of eternal life.

As in his bestselling book "value - Faith in violent times "mixes personal anecdotes with Markus Spieker sarcastic comments. He goes back in the cultural history of the sky and uses the same ideas of the latest findings of neuroscience and sociology.

In his "Faith Book" of the election-Berlin argues that the ultimate goal of faith once again in the center and thus trigger a new spiritual movement. A book not for bigots and philistine, but for romantics and revolutionaries.

William Paul Young: Cottage
A weekend with God

Mack's youngest 'daughter was abducted during a family outing, and probably murdered. In his deep sadness at the loss of his daughter, Mack receives a strange message - from God. This invites him for a weekend in the said house. Despite all the objections of his mind, Mack makes his way to the hut. In furious dialogue with God over evil and the pain of the world Mack comes to a new understanding of creation and Christianity.

haunting best-selling novel.

Roger E. Olson: God and the hut - What is it about the image of God of the worldwide bestseller?
few books move the minds of millions of readers currently as much as William P. Young's novel The Shack. For in the bestseller, the most basic questions of life come up for discussion: Is there really a God? How can you allow this suffering? What is the meaning of life? The answers are given in "The Shack" are as wonderful as provocative.

But is the image of God, which is conveyed in the novel, really biblical? The theologian Roger E. Olson provides critical readers an inside view of the most talked about novel of these months and makes reference to Biblical passages on the search for the truth about God and The Shack. A good complement to the novel.

Christoph Drösser: Have you ever?

Many see music as a mysterious gift. Either you have them - or not. That the idea is not correct, prove the new book by Christoph Drösser. The somewhat provocative subtitle, "Why are we all musical" will be taken up again and again, entertaining and of course, the author explains what modern science has discovered about music and the musical abilities of us all.

High Tension and is highly recommended! However: by reading it you will still not a Beethoven, Bach or Mozart ;-)

ingenious idea for the site book.

I look forward to your feedback about these books and wish you many exciting discoveries and new insights in reading. The John
